What's New at The Fair Trader - Craft Corner

OUR CRAFT CORNER IS NOW OPEN!

We celebrated our fifth anniversary by opening a fair trade craft corner!  A week of celebration ended with wonderful world music from the Hyde Park Neighborhood Chicago Children's Choir, and, of course, cake!

The beads, fabric, yarn and paper we have found for the crafters among you are extraordinary - and many folks are telling us the prices are more than reasonable!  We also offer classes, so if you've always wanted to learn to knit, crochet or make jewelry, here is your chance.

We are always on the lookout for new and interesting items and are very aware of events in our world. It is one of the reasons we have a fair trade store. We know that even a small order can make a difference in the lives of our Fair Trade artisans, and we do our best to help make the world better by finding new resources for our customers to choose from.

Here at The Fair Trader, we are always excited when a new shipment comes in, because everything we carry is one-of-a-kind.
